The Fabric Line

What Skin Safe Actually Means

Natural fiber gets used like it's a promise. It isn't, always.

Cotton can still be treated with chemicals that irritate skin. Linen can be woven so stiff it aggravates more than it soothes. Hypoallergenic isn't a regulated term, brands can put it on a label and mean almost anything by it.

What actually matters is simpler than the marketing makes it sound: how the fiber is grown, how it's processed, what, if anything, it's treated with before it reaches you. Softness isn't just a feel, it's usually a sign that the fabric wasn't over processed to get there.

We look for fabric that's gentle because of how it's made, not because a label says so. That's the difference between marketing and material.
